What is the Manchatchatong Festival?
This will be the first International Festival of Kalinga Arts and Culture dubbed appropriately as the “Manchatchatong Festival.” With the theme “Intako man os-ossaan, papigsaon takon napiyan kajawyan” (let us unite and strengthen our rich culture and tradition), the festival will be a gathering of Kalinga people in America from around the world to celebrate our rich heritage and honor the Kalinga pioneers who contributed to the preservation of our culture and tradition. The event will also feature workshops on traditional arts, dances and music led by notable Kalinga artists.

The festival will be hosted by the iKalinga of Southern United States, LLC, and will take place in Cypress/Houston, Texas, USA on June 28-30, 2019.

How do I book a hotel room?
Attendees are responsible for booking their own hotel rooms. All reservation and billing questions should be directed to the hotel at which you have booked. ikalinga has an agreement with the Holiday Inn Hotel to avail the best rate ($79.00, normal rate starts $130.00 & up) in the area but with limited rooms available during the event. We suggest to book your hotel the soonest possible time.
The hotel is less than 4 miles to the Venue, La Hacienda and 17 miles from IAH Airport.
